Adams County Heatwave Heroes
Powerless but Not Alone: Adams County Businesses Supporting the Community
This week, Adams County faced an intense challenge, a dangerous combination of power outages and triple-digit heat. But while the grid struggled, our community didn’t.
Dozens of local businesses across Adams County and beyond stepped up to offer support, from free water and phone charging stations to temporary cooling areas, meals, and more.
This page is dedicated to those businesses who showed up for our community when it mattered most. If you know of others not yet listed, submit them here.
